I believe that AP Computer Science was one of the most important classes I have ever taken. Without it, I still probably would not know how to program and never could have worked on all of my cool projects. In fact, the only thing I regret is not learning how to program at a younger age. However, I do realize that programming involves logic and syntax which is confusing for children. While there are programming languages for kids, like Scratch, I have found (from observing my little sister) that moving from these to true languages, like Java and Python, is very hard. So, I decided to write and illustrate a children's book, "Jodoc's Java Journey," which teaches fundamental logic and syntax.
PROGRESS
I am currently working on this project and hope to have it finished and published on iBooks by the end of summer of 2015. Click here to view my completed illustrations.
